This week on Impact, Matt had come out, telling the crowd that Jeff was a disgrace to the Hardy name, and that he wanted him out to the ring so he could talk to him, When Jeff made his way to the ring, Matt had told him that he wanted him to change his name, and not have it as Hardy anymore, he later then challenged Jeff to a fight that night, Jeff was going to decline it, before Reby stepped in and said that he was scared to face Matt, Jeff told Reby that the only thing he’s scared about is her bitch genes in the family tree, and that he does accept Matt’s offer.
Later in the night, it was Jeff and Drew vs Matt and Tyrus, Reby was seen coming out with her Louboutin bag, pulling out a hammer giving it to Matt, while the ref was distracted, Matt had hit Jeff in the stomach with the hammer, then getting the refs attention by hitting Jeff with his finishing move, and then pining him for the three count.
